Explication by the Artist

The works from the "Dacha" series are created on lace, which reminds me of my childhood home and depicts my childhood self-portraits. The specifics of the material and the execution of oil painting on it do not allow me to detail the image, nor do they allow the viewer to see a clear picture. This is a metaphor for a fleeting memory that fades in my mind with each passing day.
