This work is an attempt to reflect on the emigration wave that began after February 2022, and the maturation of both society and the individual who, severing a lifelong connection with their homeland, seeks to find reason. In the burning train leaving behind her homeland, a child—a girl who represents the artist’s own childhood. She waves cheerfully, saying goodbye, but in a somewhat pretentious manner.

"One who leaves a relationship strives to be remembered only for the best... But it’s impossible to be liked by everyone without exception.”

The impetus for creating this piece was inspired by the famous song "Train on Fire" by Boris Grebenshchikov, who also left Russia after the war began.
