Undercover Games illustrates the enduring expression of secrecy and intrigue in material form. We don't know what happens behind closed doors and in hidden offices—what decisions are made that could impact people's lives or what conspiracies are woven. Yet, we know for sure that these dynamics exist and we feel their consequences.

The internal and external policies of the Russian Federation, the country of my birth, have had a severe and negative impact on the lives of many millions of people today, including myself. This series represents a material reflection of that impact—a play on words, a bitter smile, anger, and a resolve to act despite everything.
